Things to Do In Downtown Chicago | Girls Trip Edition

The moment we landed we hit the floor running ! First night was definitely for the books. Chicago definitely showed us some love everywhere we went .

✨Day 1✨
Hotel: @homewoodsuites

We had 5 girls in total on this trip and this hotel accommodated all of us. Homewood Suites are known for larger groups. We had two queen beds, a pull out queen sofa bed with a kitchen, and complimentary breakfast. Majority of our activities was in walking distance especially the bars.

Restaurant: @azulrooftop

This was a great place to start off especially during the day over looking the river. The drinks were amazing and the food was perfectly seasoned. You actually get a complimentary shot the moment you get seated !

Bar: @joydistrictchi

We ended our night here. They played hip hop and house music which was our favorite music to party to and it was packed !

Girls Trip Day 2 : Recovery

Soooo we partied so hard we had to recover the next day.

We just cuddled up and watched netflix movies and ate good food to cure our hangovers . We stopped at @kitchenandkocktails to end our night with some Jamaican jerk lamb chops 😋.

Girls Trip Chicago: Day 3

Today was a gloomy day so we decided to go to @starbucksreserve . We ordered a few pastries and an expresso martini which was strong 💪🏽.

After , we stopped at @HaroldsChicken and mannn they did not disappoint. We ordered 50 pieces of chicken and we ate the whole bucket !

Night Time Shenanigans!
So we decided to celebrate me and my friends birthday together at @oceanprimechi and the service was out of this world. The food , the drinks, the butter cake 🤤 was everything I could imagine.

After dinner we went to “Blue Chicago “ and enjoyed live jazz performances, it was the cherry on top to end this night.

Girls Trip Chicago Day 4 : Final Days

So first we got some amazing breakfast and bottomless mimosas at @offshore9rooftoplounge the sun finally shined and they had amazing views from the city.

Next we visited The Bean in Chicago definitely a landmark for first timers !

Then we strolled through the city and went 103 floors up at the @skydeckchicago which was over whelming if you are scared of heights.

We ended the night at @threedotsandadash and got some amazingly strong drinks and appetizers , loved the decor it’s actually a trippy way to get to this place , its in an ally in a basement but once you enter its amazing.

Check out my instagram guides for videos of each of these places.
